Looking at the 2010 season, the Eagles obviously have a lot of holes to fill. On the other side, there are a number of players that have expiring contracts, some of which are important members of the team.
There are several guys that will be eligible for unrestricted free agency, although unless a new collective bargaining agreement is finished soon players with less than six years of service will only be restricted free agents. Names on this list include Jason Avant (WR), Jason Babin (DE), Nick Cole (G/C), Omar Gaither (LB), Chris Gocong (LB), Ellis Hobbs (CB), Max Jean-Gilles (G), Sean Jones (S), Akeem Jordan (LB), Sav Rocca (P), Alex Smith (TE), Jeremiah Trotter (LB), Leonard Weaver (FB), and Tracy White (LB).

After a season that ended with a swift kick in the ass in Dallas, the Eagles will start looking to 2010 and how to proceed with their roster. There are some guys that won’t be back, others that shouldn’t be back, and others we need back.
In Jeff McLane’s Bird’s Eye View column yesterday, he published the results of a reader’s poll that asked a simple question about many of players, and that’s who should stay or go next season?
